Bright red flowers with long spider-like stamens. Multiflowering on 18" stalks. They provide a late summer accent to the garden. The strap-shaped foliage disappears in July; then, like magic, the flower spike bursts in August, bearing lovely, fragrant clusters. They should be grown in warmer areas with little frost. Winter protection needed.
