One of the most easily grown Iris, originating from Northern Asia, is Siberian Iris. They do best in moist soil but will tolerate drier conditions. Flowers are held on strong stems above the attractive, narrow lance like leaves.
Blue with silvery edge, very distinct. Flowers are among the largest of Siberian Iris.
