Japanese Iris are called the Queen of all Iris. Their flowers are huge (up to 8" across), orchid- like, heavily veined with crepe-like texture. They have a wide range of colors and unusual markings. They are tall, stately with lush green foliage, and enjoy a moist, well drained acidic soil.
