These large flowering, hybrid Clematis are called 'Queen of the Garden.' All of our Clematis come from Raymond Evison in the island of Guernsey, one of the foremost hybridizers today and home of the collection of the Royal Horticultural Society with over 500 cultivars. The roots are much heavier than domestic grown stock. In fact, we planted 3 roots along a 20' fence and within 2 years it was covered with thousands of flowers. Hardy vines grow 8-12' tall for trellis, porch, lamp post... any focal point. Plant in full sun and keep roots mulched or shaded.
