These "true" ball dahlias were exhibited for the first time at the National Dahlia Exhibit in Holland, its hybridizer, H.A. Van Eeuwijk, developed 12 new cltivars, all of which produce very large flowers, are very uniform in height, flower shape and, as a special feature that have strong, thick stems. This collection contains a number each of the following varieties:Babette, Boom Boom, Cornell, Hillcrest Sunfusion and Katja.
