Fiery red; classic single shape. Named for Bishop Huges of Llandaff (now Cardiff), Wales, UK in 1924 and won the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1928.
Purple, almost black, fern-like foliage will stand out in any garden. Long blooming and ideal as container plants. Hardy in zones 8-10; elsewhere dig and store in a frost-free area.
